Wellington Road Block Club Spring Cleanup
Date: Saturday, February 23rd
Time: 11am - noon
Place: We will meet at the corner of Wellington
and Washington, next to the church parking lot.
Bring: Work implements, i.e. trash bags, brooms,
garden gloves. Bring friends. Bring family!
Note: Please park your cars in your driveway.
Rain date: Saturday, March 1st
This letter was sent to Herb Wesson on behalf of the Wellington Road Block Club.
The Los Angeles Department of Transportation recently rejected our application for speed bumps on Wellington Road.

Today, around 1:30pm, a man rang my doorbell. He asked if Sonia was in. I told him no “Sonia” lived here. He asked if this was 1902. I said, “no, it’s 1962″. He said sorry, got in his car and drove away.
The encounter was extremely odd. Yes, it raised the hair on the back of my neck.
Description: He was an African American male, approximately 5′9″, stocky, maybe 40 to 50 years old, driving a cream color, four door older car. He was wearing a black pullover sweater, black pants, and he was carrying a clipboard. He was “scrubby” looking. ~LCarroll
